Market Update
We wanted to say a big thank you to all for your support this past year and beyond. We were able to hit some amazing numbers and land in the Top 20 of all agents and agent teams combined for the Monterey Peninsula for 2019.
Overall we placed as the #6 agent at Sotheby’s International Realty for the Peninsula of about 140 active agents. I placed #16 of roughly 1,500 active agents from all brokerages over the Peninsula. I could not have done this without your support as friends, and especially the friends that helped get me started in the beginning, when I knew nothing and had no clients. Thank you.
Additionally, we were able to hit a home run with our custom build in downtown Carmel, becoming one of the only teams (or agents) that build to spec and develop products in our community that are directly aimed at our client’s needs. We sold for $3,295,000 in April 2019 at a $2,059/per square foot price, an all-time standing record in Carmel for a single lot without even a peek of the ocean. This was a custom Carmel cottage with a contemporary twist that we started from scratch after raising the elevation of the lot about 6 feet to give the home the perfect siting at Casanova 3 SE of 10th, in downtown Carmel- by-the-Sea. In the market this week! Rates are at their lowest since 2016 and loan starts are at their highest since 2013. This means two things: One, now is a great time to buy with a loan, and sellers get the benefit of the market being spurred from the bottom up.
