Four benchmarks divide the valley into different areas as you head East on Carmel Valley Road. Closest in proximity to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, The Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club offers single-level, golf course fronted homes of various styles. A few miles down the road is Mid Valley, marked by the Mid Valley Shopping Center, which offers mostly hillside rancher-style homes with valley, canyon and greenbelt views. Next, at the base of the Los Laureles Grade and Bernardus Lodge, is one of the Valley’s more prestigious settings, the Miramonte area, which features quintessential Carmel Valley ranch-styles and larger estate options.
Furthest out of the main areas is the Carmel Valley Village, home to some of the best shopping, restaurants and wine tasting rooms in the area. The Village plays host to the popular “Village Views” area, whose charming vistas overlook the action in the village below.

The Quail Meadows community, up the hill from the Quail Lodge resort, offers 5,000 to 10,000+ sq ft estates. Located on the opposite side of the valley is Clint Eastwood’s Tehama.
